Lamborghini Collaborating With Reiter Engineering

Reiter Engineering has a new agreement with Automobili Lamborghini SpA to produce Gallardo GT3 racecars for the next five years.

The 2013 and 2014 racecars will be based off of the 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 and will be called the Gallardo GT3 FL2. The three other years will most likely be based off the Gallardo’s successor.  TheGallardo GT3 FL2 will race in the Asian and European GT championship races. It will also be racing in the United States in 2014 with the Lamborghini Super Trofeo racing series. The GT3 FL2 is designed for long-distance and endurance racing. They have improved engine cooling as well as made the car 25 kilograms lighter than the outgoing Gallardo GT3. The new Gallardo GT3 FL2 is expected to start being delivered in March 2013.
